Your Brother printer coughs up a paper jam on a Friday afternoon. The standard warranty says: pack it in, post it to the depot, wait three weeks, pray it's fixed. That's not how a small office runs.
This Brother onsite warranty upgrade puts a tech at your desk instead of a courier at your door. One year of cover — and it replaces the standard return-to-base term, so you get one full year total, not two stacked on top of each other.
What's covered: all Brother colour laser/LED MFCs and printers, monochrome laser fax machines (RRP over $200), monochrome laser printers (RRP over $200), monochrome laser MFCs (RRP over $200), and desktop scanners (RRP over $200). A3 models and A4 inkjet printers are excluded — those keep their standard 12-month return-to-base cover. The MFC-J6930DW specifically isn't eligible for this upgrade.
Two things to know before you buy: you've got 30 days from purchase to add this, and you'll need the Brother serial number off the printer's label to register it with Brother directly. Onsite visits are available within 50 km of a major city or 30 km in rural areas; outside that radius a travel charge may apply.
