No weld joints to crack under load. It's formed as a single piece from 3 mm steel, then matt black sprayed so it doesn't look like a bolt-on afterthought in the room. The round base design suits the SV3100 and most cameras that use the standard 1/4-20 imperial mounting screw.
You get one 1/4-20 screw and five M3 screws in the box. Three-year warranty if anything's not right. International-standard mounting holes mean you're not stuck with a proprietary fit.
