- The SB2216 LiFePO4 batteries offer a significant weight advantage, being less than half the weight of traditional Lead Acid batteries while maintaining similar physical dimensions. These advanced batteries incorporate prismatic LiFePO4 cells, widely used in portable devices, and feature an internal Battery Management System (BMS) that ensures uniform charging and discharging. The BMS provides enhanced protection against short circuits, overcurrent, and reverse polarity, reducing the risk of rapid discharge and potential damage associated with unprotected Lead Acid batteries. Additionally, the BMS manages discharge limits and cut-off voltage to safeguard the internal cells.
This 120Ah model supports continuous current up to 50A, with peak currents reaching 100A, making it ideal for portable power applications and as a replacement for Lead Acid/AGM batteries of similar capacity.
