The LiFePO4 batteries represent the next generation of power storage technology. Although they resemble Lead Acid batteries externally, they are fundamentally different, utilizing 32650 LiFePO4 cells commonly used in portable devices. An integrated battery management system (BMS) ensures uniform charging and discharging, providing protection against short circuits, overcurrent, and reverse polarity. This system offers superior safety compared to unprotected Lead Acid batteries, which can rapidly discharge under short circuit conditions, posing fire and damage risks. The BMS also manages discharge limits and cut-off voltage to safeguard the internal cells.
This 7.0Ah model delivers continuous current up to 7.0A, with peak currents reaching 15A, making it ideal for portable power applications and as a replacement for similar capacity Lead Acid or AGM batteries. It is frequently used in alarm systems, NBN installations, and other critical systems requiring backup power.
