**RE6336 Electrolytic Capacitor**
The RE6336 electrolytic capacitor utilizes an electrolyte, either a liquid or gel with a high ion concentration, to achieve greater capacitance compared to other capacitor types. These capacitors are polarized, requiring the positive terminal voltage to exceed that of the negative terminal. They are frequently employed as filters in various power supply devices to minimize voltage ripple and provide input and output smoothing as a low-pass filter (LPF).
