- Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, initially released for Wii U, is now available on Nintendo Switch. This updated version features new miniature courses inspired by various Kingdoms from the Super Mario Odyssey game. The game supports cooperative play, allowing two players to share a pair of Joy-Con controllers. One player navigates Captain Toad, while the other provides assistance, such as turnip cover fire. Captain Toad, equipped with a neck scarf, backpack, and oversized headlamp, embarks on a quest to discover hidden gems, coins, and power-ups, ultimately reaching the gold star at the end of each challenging, trap-laden stage. Although Captain Toad lacks speed, strength, and superpowers, he relies on intelligence and perspective. Players can adjust the camera to uncover hidden locations and secrets. In handheld mode, the Nintendo Switch offers an enhanced view of the maze's dangers and hidden items, with gyro controls available for exploration. Captain Toad's world is vibrant, filled with formidable enemies, intricate platforms, devious traps, and secrets to discover. Each stage presents a unique puzzle, with hidden items scattered in difficult-to-access areas. Assist our small adventurer in surviving and uncovering all treasures.
