Firstly, independent extruders enable you to print with two colours or two different materials at the same time, which reduces waste, cross-contamination and the need to swap filaments mid-print. You can use the Copy Mode to print two identical objects in one go, or take advantage of the Mirror Mode to print a mirrored symmetrical model at the same time.
These options can save you over half of the time it would take using a single extruder printer. In Backup Mode, the second extruder stands by to take over the first extruder should there be a hiccup during the print process. Thanks to its advanced control algorithm and vibration compensation, the J1 can print at impressive speeds up to 350mm/s and achieve a maximum acceleration of 10,000mm/s . Amazing features include a heated bed, with tool-free bed levelling, hands-free XY offset calibration, and easily managed Z offset calibration by way of a large thumbwheel. Industrial-grade rails ensure smooth and steady movements, and 300 C hot ends support high-temperature filaments. Other smarts include cornering optimisation to prevent problems like corner bulges, and a 5 LCD colour touchscreen with an intuitive interface.
