- The Z100 filter drum is designed with enhanced activated carbon to effectively eliminate odors and airborne VOCs. It features a True HEPA filter that captures up to 99.97% of common air pollutants. Compatible with all Z1000 (Small) TruSens Air Purifiers, this combination filter offers three levels of filtration: an activated carbon filter, a True HEPA filter, and a durable mesh prefilter. The activated carbon filter efficiently combats cooking and cleaning odors while reducing airborne VOCs such as ammonia, acetone, and formaldehyde. The 360-degree filtration system draws in air from all directions, ensuring comprehensive pollutant collection throughout the room. Regular replacement of the filter is crucial for maintaining optimal air purification performance. It is advised to replace the Smoke HEPA Drum every 12 to 15 months and the Odor & VOC Carbon Filter every 3 to 4 months, depending on usage. The air purifier's change indicator will illuminate red when a filter replacement is necessary.
