- The UV bulb is a critical component of the air purification system, effectively eliminating germs and bacteria. It inhibits the proliferation of odor-causing microbes on the air purifier filter surface. Microscopic airborne organisms, which may multiply if untreated, are captured by air filters. Exposure to UV light wavelengths renders bacteria and viruses unable to reproduce. The air purifier's indicator light will illuminate red when the bulb requires replacement. This bulb is compatible with the TruSens Z3000 Air Purifier.
