- Twist-on F-type terminal for RG6 cable, Model PP0638. To install, strip approximately 12mm of coaxial cable, folding the braid and foil back over the outer sheath. Remove about 8mm of foam insulation from the center conductor. Attach the knurled connector by screwing it onto the cable until the center conductor is visible at the front. The foam insulation will ensure proper alignment of the conductor. If needed, trim any excess braid and foil to prevent thread binding. A minimal amount of braid is required for a reliable electrical connection. For a polished finish, trim excess braid from the knurled end and apply heat shrink tubing.
