- The RP3712 potentiometer features an imperial standard shaft and bushings, crafted to our stringent engineering specifications. These full-size potentiometers have a 24mm diameter and a maximum power rating of 0.5W. The 6.35mm (1/4 inch) shafts are precision-machined with a flat surface, covering 25% of the diameter, to accommodate grubscrews or interference fit knob mounting. The shaft length is a substantial 38mm, and the bush is a 3/8 32 T.H.D. type, ensuring secure panel attachment.
A key advantage of these potentiometers is their PCB mount capability. The pins are robustly mounted on phenolic, with the center pin offset from the outer terminals, providing stability when soldered onto a PCB. Double gang pots are secured in six locations, eliminating the need for additional mechanical support. The pins are sufficiently large to accommodate screened cable termination, facilitating hard wiring when necessary.
