- The RP3760 potentiometer features an imperial standard shaft and bushings, crafted to meet our stringent engineering specifications. These full-size potentiometers have a 24mm diameter and a maximum power rating of 0.5W. The 6.35mm (1/4 inch) shafts are precision-machined with a flat surface, covering 25% of the diameter, to accommodate grubscrews or interference fit knob mounting. The shaft extends to a substantial length of 38mm. The bush is a 3/8 32 T.H.D. type, ensuring secure panel attachment. A key advantage is the PCB mount capability, with pins mounted on phenolic and the center pin offset from the outer terminals, providing stability when soldered onto a PCB. Double gang pots are secured in six locations, eliminating the need for additional mechanical support. The pins are sufficiently large to accommodate screened cable termination for hard wiring applications. An engineering drawing is available for designing PCB artwork, as this design is standardized.
