The WS5510 protective sleeve is made from extruded volcanic rock and can handle temperatures up to 650;C, making it stronger and more abrasion-resistant than previous fibreglass-based products. Sold in a 1 metre pack, it comes in two diameters (3mm and 6mm), but the ends may unweave with excessive handling, so it is recommended to use tape or cable ties during installation to keep the fibres together.
